-IF YOU CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT, DON'T STOP WORKING FOR IT-
On that notion, David, Carol, Kim & Ryan dove into starting Hickory Knoll Design.
With an eclectic mix of custom built furniture to junk piles turned into darling decor, the trio is always up for new concepts and ideas to add to their repertoire.
David was born and raised a handy-man and free spirit. A lover of loud music and moonlight, David crafts some unique creations after Carol's bedtime.
Carol operates as a Type A, go-getter. Always up before the sun, her finest ideas come during early morning workouts.
Kim has an eye for design. A true tomboy at heart that still loves all things pretty. The mother of two is never afraid to get her hands dirty and impulsively dive into something new.
Ryan is a family man with an inquisitive nature. The combo leads to daily betterment of mind and soul.
HISTORY OF HICKORY KNOLL DESIGN
Kim's Great Grandparents, Van & Ruth Jackson started a dairy farm in Omro, WI in 1917 named Hickory Knoll Dairy. It was 1 of the 2 largest dairy farms west of Oshkosh at the time. Kim's Grandma and Grandpa, Ray & Betty Jackson carried on the family business delivering milk in glass bottles to those in the area. When Kim, Carol, David & Ryan decided to start a woodworking business, the name Hickory Knoll came to mind immediately because of Kim's family history and also because the workshop sits on a "hickory knoll" property: lined with hickory nut trees and on the top of a hill. This business is our destiny and we are so proud to share it with you!
